I hear we are in good shape with the Hurst kid from Gautier. I rarely get decent recruiting info, but it is what I'm being told by people that should know.
EDITED TO ADD - apparently I have zero information when it comes to recruiting so ignore me at all times when I post on here.

Recruiting rankings maybe? Season rankings absolutely not. So if we finish most seasons ranked somewhere between 20-30 which we do, I don't see how they could be wrong about recruiting ratings when we finish somewhere between 20-40.
If you're saying we recruit at a higher clip than where we are rated then that means we have underachieved as a program over the last 10 years and I just don't buy that.

If you like our recruiting staff, he was a sleeper that was about to blow up. Rumor is that AU, GA, and FL were about to offer. We are lucky to get him when we did.
If you hate our recruiting staff, he was not even rated by 247 and was recently offered by Stetson, he will be lucky to get 3 stars.
You can pick which one you want to be true and argue your pick to your deathbed.
As usual, truth is most likely somewhere in the middle.

DeCarlos Nicholson decommits from us so Johnson is replacing him.
Doubt we see him again on the commit list.

I think we would've kept Nicholson if we could. Don't think he was one of the DBs we were replacing. He's a good player. Probably headed to FSU.

That sucks, people that know things on here thought he was really good. I was planning on going to a MGCCC game this fall to check him out.

By replace I mean I imagined the staff probably got wind of this decommit and got Johnson on board.

I told yall when we got him Nicholson would be tough to keep. He is a NFL corner.
We did all we could to get him. The Greenville Christian kids are no slouch either. Tough get after your ass kids
