He stole home one time and he slid past the plate before the pitch got there. Now it was on a lefty and he got a huge jump but the kid has legit speed. Really good kid and hard worker, too!

No talk about Clayton decommiting? I?m not sure it?s a huge deal but what are thoughts?

We're on some good DL, so I'm really not too concerned. If he wants to come back, he can. If not, best of luck to him.

If they had known he was going to decommit, they wouldn't have dropped his composite rank.

He said our coaches wanted to move him to OL.

Clayton isn't a DL. He's just not. He's an OL, but not as skilled as the OL we're pulling. He was at camp and now he's moving on. Good luck to him!

Agree with this 100%.

Folks in the know, are things still looking good for Stone Blanton or should there cause for concern?
Not basing this off anything at all, just see he’s enjoying the process and seeing quite a few schools.

He will be a Dawg.

Ari, thanks for imparting a little wisdom to these recruiting threads

Clayton committed to Morehead, not this staff and that may play a part of it.
Now that he has moved on, State has that extra spot for some guys they think highly. Tt's June, long time to signing day.
I don't see this as anything other than it was most likely best for him and I doubt anyone has any hard feelings from him or State. Sometimes a player has to find his best fit.

Cam East committing at 5. Is it us?
-
Yes, coaches have already been told
-
He would be another very nice pull in this class. Very pleased with this staff and their recruiting with a year under their belt and a more ?normal? year in which to operate.

Our OL recruiting has been very good this year so far. If we pull Quick and Hurst that's a really solid class.

Harris, the big 4 ⭐️ DT from Germantown HS, just committed to Ole Miss.....
I thought we were in the driver seat for that. He must have seen his new NIL offer 👀😳

This is a “let’s try and take some shine from their Natty” move... he won’t end up there..

Ari you are more than likely dead on there. Totally an Ole Miss move but for them to think this 4 star DL can take away the mood of State fans after actually winning a Natty then they really are stupid. They can have all the 4 stars and 5 stars in the world but it will never tarnish what we have accomplished in baseball. Plus those 5 stars will all probably fall out of hotel windows or something and wash out within the next 6 years. Good luck to the kid, but you would think what they did to that kid last year,I think he was an OL from Jackson, with keeping him from State would warn all the other recruits.
