2022 MSU FOOTBALL RECRUITING Discussion Thread

Might as well get this one going. From what Emerick was saying on twitter tonight, sounds like the staff already has got commits for that class. So here goes the fun ....

Enyce Sledge -- big DT out of Monroe, LA.
I actually saw him post under Emerick's twitter post tonight. Kid faced a LOT of double teams in his video, and he more than held his own and then some. Needs some technique work, but dang, he's a freakin' bull!

Another major DT, this time from Columbia, Mississippi
    Jaheim Oatis. What a beast.
You've probably seen this short video of him that circulated twitter this fall, and I honestly had no idea this is who it was:
    https://twitter.com/jaheimoatis/stat...237118976?s=21
I can't find updated video of this season, but his stats are crazy. Got one buddy that coached against him, and he said "a freak....just a monster in the middle that haunts you all week long trying to prep for him".
Will be hard to fight off Bama and LSU.
    ETA:
I did find this one video of him. He apparently also is the kicker for KOs. And he straight de-cleated this poor returner 😳😳😳😳😳👀👀👀

Follow the link above to his twitter page, it's the post right above the one linked. Funny stuff

    State target #1 -
    Khamauri Rogers - CB

I know he's been an LSU fan his whole life, but you need to work the recruiting to the end with this kid. He's as good of a cant miss CB as there is.

    My personal #1 target is

    Zxavian Harris - DT
    Germantown HS
    Madison, MS

    He's 6'8" 330 lbs
I'll let his film tell the tale

    https://www.hudl.com/video/3/1154106...f62d09a8e8e417

He's the NT that this defense needs. And he's quick enough and long enough to slide him to DE at times and really wreck a place up.

    Not a wish list.

This a WAYYYYY EARLY lost of guys that members of the staff are looking at/following/talking to/offered.
I know we are all but out of the picture for this guy, but it's not bad to see what the best is so that you can judge what's out there.

We will get whomever Ole Miss, LSU, or Bama doesn’t want. Our Cigarillo Chumps are on top of it.

We're playing checkers, while everyone else are playing chess. Seriously. As I've said a thousand times, nothing against Bracky as a person, but he should not be in that position. This is an institutional/cultural problem systemic at MSU. Every other school that's serious about playing football seriously have guys in that position who've previously worked in the area of NCAA compliance (many actually for the NCAA...literally/flipped double-agents). We're literally tying our hands behind our back while we slowly shuffle to a fist-fight with our socks and sandals. We are literally perpetuating ourselves in underachieving. It boggles the mind.
