They are the only ones who count it like that. They do it because it cuts off the largest win streak in series history, which does not belong to them. It makes Ole Miss look better. If our Twitter account did it then whoever runs it should be fired tonight. It's inexcusable. Anyone on our side who does it is automatically suspect. Sorry.

True but let’s be honest in that we have nowhere near the offensive talent of Florida and Bama as they don’t punt much against most teams.

Two times we had to punt because our center had bad snaps. We may have punted anyway but who knows. And yes we don’t run the ball enough especially against these defenses but when we did try to run we only got 2-4 yards a carry most of the time. Our backs aren’t all that great either so it’s not like Moorhead where if we just had lined up and run it we would have won.

ONLY Ole Miss counts it like that, seriously. They are literally the only ones. I would too if I was them. You can absolutely judge media bias when it comes to the Egg depending on whether they count the entire history or whether they buy into the "Battle for the Egg" crap. If you want to ignore MSU's most dominant stretch in the series then you buy into the 93rd crap. The damn Egg came about because of what they did when they finally ended the longest win streak in series history, a record that still stands.
