Were our culture issues really so bad that taking 49 players to play against the #13 team in the nation showed that much of a marked improvement?
If so...we need to hunt down JoMo and demand a refund.
Last night was an eye opener for me.

Did we play a game against a good opponent that well in 2 years under Moorhead or am I just being biased by how bad we've been for the last 2 months?

I don't know and do not have inside info.
I do know what I saw last night. I saw a TEAM giving 💯 effort. Defensive players laying the lumber!!!!
And it was awesome to see!!!!!

Our 49 players, last night, wanted to play, compete and win as a team,. Not this pouty and look at me crap.

A sick culture destroys lots of things and a good culture will cover a lot of other weaknesses. Seems obvious to me at this point what happened around culture for the past 3 years.

What's crazy about a team culture is that it's so easy to see. It's so clear that it turned last night.

If CML can change an organization's culture in two weeks in a fashion that made our offense compete the way that they did for 3 QRTS last night, he is worth $100,000,000 a year in corporate America.
What we saw was a young group playing hard. The group greatly benefited from two weeks of practice getting three times the reps because of the limited amount of players available. There was no hocus pocus magic. The real positive is that the offense can work with better execution. Having a full spring and fall camp could make us competitive.

100%
While it seems like it's taking forever to turn things around, there's a good chance we look back in 3 years & realize that it only took Leach 6 games to turn around the culture and direction of the program. That's basically a U turn when it comes to a historical perspective.
