If LT wouldn't have been pushed out by Fogelsong we would've screwed it up. Raffo would've been hired and we would probably still be in the baseball doldrums.

People forget you are comparing apples to apple seed. State had no money what so ever back in the day. Sold the Florida game for $1M... Weren't gonna win it either... The fact that Templeton help built the West Side addition with Carl Maddox & Dudy Noble back in the mid 80's was amazing. State opened up new Scott field additions and The 1st New Dudy Noble within a year of each other.. The Track Complex along with the Tennis Complex and refurbishing The Hump to make it so much better was done by Larry.

Templeton got us to a Final Four, Omaha, SEC Championship in Mbb, SEC Tournament Championships in MBB, Nationally ranked Tennis teams ect.

I know for a fact about the Spurrier hire that was loss because I was in the building... Furthermore, Emory Bellard gave me a piece of paper and said Partna.. could you please get this out and I read it to all the radio & TV stations by live & recorded...

    1. Larry Templeton
For the amount of Money State had back them...LT always had us in black... Never in red..

    2. A&M's AD's son Byrne. He wasn't going to fail because of the new tv sponsorship the SEC came up with.. but would not stay long..

    3. The Male Cheerleader from Jackson Prep... A weak as punk from day 1 that had a Sports Information background and was pathetic at building a group to get our fundraising up... He was weak as water.. especially in his girly jackson prep cheer uniform.
This is pure insanity and craziness. Spurrier talked to us and we had the chance to hire him and didnt. You're telling me Duke football was putting more money into football than us? No, no they werent. Yet Spurrier went to Duke. LT ****ed it up. LT was a terrible AD. He was overruled on some hires fortunately or our program wouldnt be anywhere close to where it is today.

If LT had made the baseball hire- it was going to be Raffo. Hell, LT is the reason we had Polk II. Raffo would have been Polk III

It's true that Lonnie likely gets more blame than he deserves & certainly had different job than the people that followed him due to money, but he was misled so often that there is just no way he isn't last on this list.
You can't give Lonnie Tinkle a pass because of money when he wouldn't pick up the phone to call back about a 7 figure donation. I bet every athletic director in the country will pick up the phone if a 7 figure donation is on the line. No matter how much money an athletic department has, no athletic director is regularly generating so much money in donations that they can't spend 15 minutes to secure 7 figures.

LT- This guy wanted to hire Bobby Wallace instead of Jackie Sherrill, sold our home game vs Fla for a million dollars, turned down Steve Spurrier to hire Rockey Felker, didnt even interview Rollie Massimino and gave the job to Richard Williams, and turned down Jimbo Fisher to hire Sylvester Croom. He was going to hire Raffo instead of Cohen. He literally set our program back a generation.

I always thought that LT was bad and was secretly working for our enemies, but this is horror. Cohen says he calls LT every day for advice. We need to fire JC immediately then. He can always get a Baseball job. 3rd-Base job at Arkansas State for Raffo.

Hopefully LT has done reflection & can tell JC exactly what not to do

LT wasn't the AD that hired Felker and screwed up Spurrier. That would have been Charlie Carr.

Guess who came up with the mantra of only hiring up and coming football coordinators? Cohen simply isn't qualified to be the AD and we've got LT running things in the shadows and people wonder how our football program got screwed up?

Cohen going off and hiring Leach was a step in the right direction. Anyway this will be an issue until we can get out of the "MSU family" of athletic administrators. LT is from the freaking Shira era for goodness sakes.

Templeton (I know, but most of you guys obviously have no idea of the limitations he operated with)
    Byrne
Strickland ( he only ranks this high because of the utter disaster that followed)
Cohen...although I'm hesitant to rank him at all because he is NOT an AD. He is a d:$& baseball coach that somehow managed to land a job he knows NOTHING about.

Never forget that Stricklin tried to hire Frost & Chip Kelly before settling for Mullen
