The Jackson Kayak brand, what do you yakers think of the brand.

I was looking at their propeller drive, and thought it would be very efficient.

Jackson kayak makes a great boat. A top brand. I fished a tournament recently near a guy who was on the bite fd and I talked to him for a while about the boat. He loved it. The FD drive had a lot of problems at first but they’re roughly 3 years in to making improvements so I’m sure it’s much better now. Love their idea of the shallow drafting prop. I’d like to demo one to check out myself. I’m in a native and I’ll say the native drive is pretty tried and true for the prop drive pedal yaks. Been making them over a decade now.

I've got zero experience with Jackson kayaks, but I thought I'd suggest that if you pull the trigger, just go straight to the source in Sparta, Tennessee. It's about 15 minutes from this, the thing that helped draw the Jacksons to this area in the first place:

The first or second time I visited there, they just happened to be having the World Cup of Freestyle Kayaking. It was awesome seeing everyone tackle the rapids that develop at the base of those (and other) falls in high water.

I have no experience with their pedal models, but love my Cuda 12. Very well made and I have not had any issues with it.

It's just called "Great Falls." It's at Rock Island State Park. The deal is that when they dammed up the Caney Fork River way back in the day, some of the water from that and another feeder river found its way to some small underground caves that happened to open up downstream at the top of some bluffs. That happy accident -- along with a bunch of other cool spots along the Caney Fork's open river bed -- was enough to warrant an outdoor attraction, so now it's a state park. It's a really great place to spend an afternoon, especially in the summer when you can amble around the river bed and pop in and out of all the waterfalls along the way. I don't think I have any other pics from my trips there, but here's one from Reddit that gives you a decent idea of what's upstream from Great Falls:

Burgess Falls State Park is awesome, too, and is only 30 minutes north of Rock Island. Here's what Burgess Falls looked like one of the last times I was there (which has been a while):

I'm glad I asked the question just to get to see and know about this park, beautiful scenery.
