I can think of a few that I would think *could* move on that aren’t ever gonna do much but I’m not gonna blast kids on here. No inside info, just some guys that come to mind. Interested to see who else heads on out mid-season to get a jump on searching for a new home.

Gonna need more if we are going to trim the roster to 85 by August I would think. What current seniors do we expect to come back since this season doesn't count against eligibility?

the sr arent going to count against the 85 anyway. But, yes we need to trim some to sign 25 and be at 83. Which is where we have to be.

It's all good until we start losing players on the 2 deep.

Hopefully we get back every Sr that's a contributor. Guys like Eiland get crapped on, but if the staff has them on the 2 deep then we would be worse off without them

By my count, we only need to trim 3 more to get to 25/83. That won't be a problem.

We only have 10 seniors who contribute. I have to think KJ is moving on. Gotta think Errol, Kobe, and Spencer are going to try and move on to the next level.

So that leaves just 6 in question: Payton, Osirius, Peters, Eiland, Parker, and Sharp.

Would love to see Kobe or Spencer give it one more try

I don't think many seniors will stick around for a three-year rebuild. If they still want to play, I suspect they will hit the transfer portal.

Nobody talks about it but DE looks like absolute dog crap for the next 2-3 years. Russel and Ani have shown nothing, Jack Harris wasn't ever sold as a high ceiling guy out of HS, Odom has shown nothing with several years of opportunity, and we have no studs being redshirted/coming in next year.

I guess we can move Lawson and Davis to DE next year at least, kinda kicks the can to OLB though, and we're almost certainly screwed the year after that once those 2 leave.

IMO it's our worst position group going forward
