He might be the best WR in the game in a year
-
Saw Terrell Owens do that when he was with the Eagles but he started from the other side of the field.
-
He was the still of that draft
-
It really is amazing what a physical specimen he is.

Everyone wants to be a beast...until its time to do what beasts do.

Metcalf is a freak of nature. He’s only going to get better and better.

What a crappy coach Matt Luke was to have both Brown and Metcalf with his biggest win coming from having to take the opposing teams QB out.

Amazes me that OM wasn't better than they were when they had both DK and AJ on the same roster for the exact same years. You are talking probably two of the top 10 WRs in the entire NFL right now. DK in particular is WAY better as a pro than he ever was at OM.

They were mostly there under Freeze. I was thinking Luke only had them their SR year while he was interim?

I wouldn't argue with this. As was said earlier, he is a freak of an athlete. I think with his size, speed, football IQ, agility, hands, etc. he definitely has that possibility.

Also throw in that they completely ignored Dawson Knox who is now a very competent NFL tight end. I mean they threw it to him at most 3 times a game.

AJ too in my opinion. He's displaying speed and burst on a regular basis that he only ever showed flashes of at OM. Amazing what good position coaching and a scheme with a little more structure than running plays called "Get Open" can do.

Great athlete, great receiver, still can't stand him.

We really need some skill players to make it in the league. Having Dak is obviously a huge plus, and outweighs any WR, but we need more.

Mullen certainly did his part with this. We just got to keep it rolling. Right now MSU is up there with anybody as far as high profile NFL guys. Dak, Cox, Jones, Simmons, Slay, even Sweat had 2.5 sacks Sunday.
