Great ending. Brett Phillips was an Biloxi Shucker, then got traded to the Royals and was traded to the Rays right before the postseason. He was famous in the minors for getting chased by an opossum in the outfied at MGM park. This was an exciting game.

Yeah- I bet he's happy to be known for the WS walk-off now! Kind of reminds me of George Brett when he was asked if he minded being known for going off on the umpires during the pine tar incident. He said something like "No- before that I was known as the guy who missed the World Series because of hemorrhoids. "

Catcher is probably a little sick though.

With that crappy throw from Muncy the catcher never had a chance. But plays like theses make Baseball exciting.

Definitely looked like he sno-coned the ball in his glove. If he holds onto it the runner was dead to rights.

You know he is. He just plain missed it. Although muncy did throw him a change up.

And behind him to (I think) which is what caused him to have to spin around like that. He probably didn't quite realize in the moment where Arozarena was in the basepaths because he was trying to get the throw first as he should have.

The bobble by Taylor in CF was the crucial mistake. The drop by the catcher pretty much just canceled out Arozarena tripping over his own feet. Worth staying up for.
