Great job/ Got to give the bullpen credit, Martin, Smith and Melancon have been great all season.

Braves recipe: starting pitching keep it close, turn it over to bullpen, late inning offense. It's how they roll!

(Trying not to notice. Trying not to get hopes up. Trying not to think about how good the pitching and hitting have been. Trying not to think about the Braves bringing home a WS). Braves are playing? Who knew?***

Tomlin striking out a hitter on 3-2 85 mph fastball right down the middle 😂. Must've looked like a basketball coming up there but Taylor fell down swinging at it!

Fing AJ and Tomlin. Would rather have seen Smith or Mel.

Lot of talk about the dodgers bats getting goin late and that carrying over for the rest of the series...and it may. But having been a part of a lot of those type of falling just short comebacks, I will say that that takes a lot out of a team emotionally and if the Braves can pull it out tomorrow they may fold up shop. Similar to if the Braves would have blown it tonite. The emotion in these long series, especially with no off days, can be extremely exhausting. And the dodgers are now like the 90s Braves where a ?here we go again? mentality could start to sneak in.

Or they could come out raging tomorrow and win the next 4...that?s baseball

Boom, great minds think alike. Coming up short takes a lot out of you, and as Earl Weaver used to say momentum is tomorrows starting pitcher. Greatest game in the world!

Wonder where you were at? Now we have to worry if we win tomorrow is who goes game 4? Has to be Fried. Tomlin would be the number 4 but he has sucked and he pitched tonight.

That's one reason they pulled Anderson after 4 tonight. This long series with no days off means Anderson could come back and pitch some in game 4 - that is his regular day of throwing after a start
