Now if you pitch too much to contact, those singles and doubles become doubles and HR and suddenly you're giving up 4-5 runs instead of 1-2.
It's just harder to pitch now. It's also harder to hit now, too. Which is why you see so many K's but also so many HR.
Good point.

Moment is too big for Wright

Wright looks like he's about to cry. Get him out.

On second thought, should've just left him in there to eat innings. This one was over before it started.

Well Shi6. Anytime there is an error or an overturn with 2 outs in an inning usually spells doom.
-
-
Well gotta win one of the next two...
I respect the dodgers...betts, seager, Bellinger, etc. however muncy is a punk. Or is it just me?

This is the beautiful thing about baseball. Let them score 50, and we're still up 2-1. Just remember that and let this one go, don't dwell on it.
-
Smith Martin and Melancon are off limits to pitch tonight.
-
Watching the Atl pitchers in the 1st reminded me of Kevin Bacon in Animal House, Thank you sir may i have another.

Exactly. First thing you say as a coach after a loss like this it's only counts as one loss. Forget it move on to tomorrow.

Problem is who do we have pitching tomorrow? Tomlin?
-
Well just answered my own question. Smith is the starter/
-
Yep, just run a bullpen game. It actually could be really good.

Bryce Wilson was announced earlier today as the starter for tomorrow
-
Man, I really hope Wilson can get us 3 innings 1 run. I would be very careful with him

Me too and we have all the top arms out of the bullpen ready too, didn't use any of them up tonight.

He’s gotta get ahead in the count and throw quality strikes. Gonna need a few atem balls and hope he can get thru the line up at least once. If he could give 5 innings of 2 run ball I’d be ecstatic and expect a Braves win. I don’t anticipate Kershaw being able to dominate for 5+. But he definitely could.

Yeesh, I don't like starting Wilson. But as long as we're prepared to yank him at the first sign of trouble, even if he hasn't gotten out of the 1st, I'm ok with it.
