You can bet that this could very well factor in future recruiting. The game of football is being impacted by social media at the high school and college level. A recruit could feel that he does not want to play in front of certain types of fans based on what he gets on social media. A 5 star recruit goes to the NFL whether he plays for Alabama or San Jose State? The upscale players can determine their own fate without a major college. A major college can not determine its fate without the premium players. This is being learned thru social media?
