Problem is, he has to continually do that because of his recruiting failures. He never truly recruited to a system. He tried to develop them into something. Most coaches recruit to their systems and run them. We never could throw it with Fitz and Relf. We couldn't run the power option with Russell. Dak is the only viable QB we ever had under him. Dan lost every game vs AL because of it all.

Lets look in the old trophy case and see how the old way has worked. That 1998 second place in the SEC trophy is getting mighty dusty.
There is no system that will put a trophy in our case.

What limitations on his offense lost their game yesterday? I'm really interested in this bc I wonder if you watched the game

We did change we went spread and run pass options like the masses and we've had the players to do it. Going air raid is a radical move and one that potentially is like blowing up the program to rebuild from the beginning. This was a big, big risk. Looks bad right now, jury still out, we'll see.

We may be seeing how bad Joe was.

I said this same thing this morning. If the Air Raid depends on the QB being comfortable in the system, no sense in WR and GS not taking the rest of the snaps for the season.
