Washington always had the playbook against Leach. He beat them his first year at WSU and never scored more than 20 against them again. You drop 8 and rush 3 and his offense is terrible. When you have SEC athletes, even bad ones like at UK and Arkansas, doing it, it's beyond terrible. LSU was just nuts trying to man up.

At this point Ole Miss shouldn?t even be a focus. We need to hope we beat vandy and mizzou. Ole Miss is way ahead of us. Thanks Cohen for messing up the hire in 2018. I don?t blame him necessarily for hiring leach because he was desperate, but I don?t think I can forgive him for hiring someone who only won a bit because he got a rare talent in barkley. That Moorhead hire was such a train wreck.

No more drinking for me. Last night was bad. Drinking and MSU football don't go well together.

He never adjusted at Wazzou because he never had. Sure, UW figured him out, but when he was winning 8-9 games a year, who cares if UW has you figured out?

    He'll adjust
He didn’t adjust at WSU because he knew it was a talent problem that he had to recruit to fix. He is in deep shit here because he is not dealing with a talent problem. He is dealing with a “this scheme does not work against these athletes” problem. We need to play Will Rogers and hope that he can adjust his scheme to allow the quarterback to take free yards and run the tailbacks. If we will simply call the correct play against a light box and lose that way I will accept it, but if Leach is going to continue to throw the ball when the numbers in the box dictate you to run it and if Leach is going to tell his quarterbacks to sit in the pocket when they have 10 yards of open field in front of them then he needs to go.

We have now hired two offensive gurus in a row who have yet to succeed with this group of players. Maybe it's not the coaches?

UK never went better than 7-5 during those 4 years (5-6, 7-5, 6-6, 2-9). Not exactly setting the world on fire.
