Mississippi State vs Kentucky Game Thread
T-minus 1.5 hours till kickoff.
I want see us throw quicker passes early in the game tonight to the RBs and WRs until KY is forced to come up on our WRs and utilizes LBs to stop passes to the RBs.
Will be terribly disappointed if we come out flat tonight after laying a turn last week

Need some redemption. STAT!

I have no expectations for this game. We could blow them out, they could blow us out, or it could be a nail biter in either direction. It all comes down to KJ making the right reads and not turning the ball over.
-
If KJ turns it over tonight do you think we will see a change?
-
What's the weather look like? Field soaked?

Depends on what comes with the turnovers.
If they're LSU type turnovers while we're running up and down the field, then no.
If they're Arkansas type turnovers, then I could see Rogers getting a series to see how it goes.

Supposedly it's dry now, but that'll likely change.

Been sprinkling off and on all day. Field is wet.
Will Rogers and Brad Cumbest are dressed out.
-
Washington sees a lot of rain, so I'm gonna assume this system can be successful in the rain. Hopefully our guys can catch a wet ball
-
Turnovers have cost us about 20 point swings in each of the last two games. Just cutting that down to 10 points a game and we are undefeated and probably ranked around number 12. Just think about that and keep everything in context.
We aren’t as good as everyone thought after LSU game. But we are not as bad as the team that showed up last week. Today will be a good indicator of what the team really is.

Pulman is dry because it's on the backside of the Cascades.
However, YES, Wazzou had to play all the time in Seattle, Corvallis, and Eugene where it rains nearly every day

James Jackson starting tonight. Will be interesting to see if that fixes some protection issues.
I knew after Pittman bragged on Smith last week, it was going to be Arkansas' plan to exploit him

Good news

Pig about to burn down the Barn - can they hold on with 5 to play??
-
I'm not too worried about the field. My biggest worry is that it'll start raining and it'll be tough to grip the ball.

My biggest concern is the charity TD per game that KJ keeps donating. Eliminate those and we win and would be undefeated.

Has a QB ever thrown a pick 6 in 3 straight games?
