I didn't expect KJ to be as good as he was (turnovers, notwithstanding) and have such great chemistry with the WRs....which for the first time since 2014, our receiving corps actually looked SEC quality.
And as I said in the other thread....huge props to the defense. They were getting awesome pressure, constantly confusing Brennan, and though our secondary has room to grow, they certainly aren't OM bad. The D was salty today, which the offense we have, that's really all you can ask them to be.

We're just lucky he didn't bottom us out. It was bad, and we woefully underachieved, but our foundation was strong enough to prevent a total program collapse.

We pulled the plug in the nick of time & due to that Leach could regain the Mullen culture quickly.
Pull the plug too late & you end up like FSU
