If you are paying any attention to the actual science of Covid, it becomes blatantly obvious that it has become politicized to the point that no American source can be at all trusted. The desire to expel Trump is so great among Democrats that they are willing to throw the entire country under the bus to regain the presidency. Then the right wing reaction has been that all this is lies because it's simply the opposite of the left.

Personally I think we should find a middle ground that allows for the economy to re open, but with precautions. So everybody put on a mask, and get back to work. That's what I think is the wise course.

Hell, in Japan if you are sick from anything you just wear a mask. Been that way for decades. It's just considered polite to do so. And it does help. Masks are not 100%, but they are much much greater than 0% effective. Perhaps we should do that going forward as a normal part of our culture.

Going to the doctor. I just went this afternoon. I like the idea of sitting in my truck listening to Finebaum much more than the idea of sitting on uncomfortable furniture while a dude next to me with god knows what diseases is coughing away next to me.

But then again, the concepts of wisdom and thoughtfulness in American politics went out the window a long long time ago.

A chunk of them are; I know from the front lines of people working in it.

The virus is proving to be a minor sickness for majority of people. Every loss of life is bad but we all gonna die from something, this virus is the least of our worries. Virus is mostly political at this point. Even sports is now political.

Keep in mind Nashville bars are still closed. Have been for months. Lives ruined. Sad. Especially considering the updated death for all causes for the 0-25 crowd came out today and show deaths in 2020 are way down for that demographic.

Some friends of ours just closed their restaurant that they've owned for approx 30 years. My wife and I both worked their when we were young and it's where we actually met. Good people that ran a good restaurant.

It was a large restaurant with seating for about 300 so there are a lot of other managers, cooks, wait staff, etc. that are also losing a job over complete lies and stupidity.
