    After Fincher, Villeneuve is one of my favorite (newer) directors working today. I'm confident he can do justice to the scope of Dune.

    The toll gate scene is a master-class in building tension/suspense.

    This is one of his early shorts before he got into feature films, and though while obviously avant-garde, still absolutely shows his potential as a director. I love his aesthetic.
