ESPN announcer refusing police security because he doesn't want to be shot by the cop
-
I didn't read the article but I'm sick of idiots.
-
What an idiot.
Doubt ESPN will do anything to him but people have been fired for less offensive comments
-
That guy is a POS...
I hope the policeman that is assigned to him does a complete background check and finds out Mr Jones has an unpaid parking ticket. He gets a warrant and arrests him in the booth on live TV...

I hope ESPN remembers this BS on their next round of Lay-offs ... what an idiot
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Same guy that went after our administration when they had been in favor of changing the state flag for years.

Dumbasses are gonna dumbass I guess. He starts getting his tale kicked he’ll cry like a baby wishing a big bad policeman would come help.
-
The country is in such a sad state. Smh.

Why does an ESPN dork need police protection? Gene Swindoll probably has more fans, does he get a protection detail?

Looked him up and he sort of looks like Tim Meadows who used to be on SNL. SO maybe he needs protection in case somebody mistakes him for Tim Meadows?
But I'm guessing he doesn't actually get a protection detail but that cops sometimes provide security generally, and sometimes it's private security, but it's never actually providing him personal security and he's too self absorbed to tell the difference.

He’s a fool. Same guy who told Robbie Faulk he couldn’t understand Kylin Hill even though Robbie was on his side.

To be fair, maybe he's hooking up with a lot of guys involved in drug dealing and he legitimately has a reason to fear he might end up in an altercation with police.

Yet two years ago the same dude had a tweet thanking policemen for giving him an escort. Screw him and make him walk in traffic.

I mean we as a society just deemed that is ok to barge into a home and kill black people if you're a cop (plain clothes or not) and the only thing they need to be wary of is not damaging others property. You can think his comments are stupid or whatever you want. Maybe in a vacuum they are. But coming off the heels of the stupidest justice department decision that I've ever heard of, it's really ****in tone deaf to complain about people milquetoast responses to it.
All of you are so quick to witch-hunt this guy and even cheer for him to be arrested (absolutely disgusting ari. and I don't mean that in a I don't like you way. I mean that in you're literally trash for that. Basically says you want a black person to be tortured because you aren't happy that they aren't shutting up and taking it.) Where is that energy for someone being murdered while they are sleeping in their home. I'm over the bullshit. End no-knock raids. Period. People don't deserve to die over drug trafficking. Especially not by judge jury and executioner plain clothes cops. How do you possibly support that? Killing people AND wasting our tax dollars. There is no benefit for you, only harm regardless of color. I don't ****in get it. Yet y'all mfs all on here bitching about someone reacting upset to that while not a peep about Ms. Taylor.
Disgusted that some of you went to my school.

You knew Dan would come and save the day

To top it off, he’s calling the Army game Saturday
ESPN has a real issue with all these wackos at the channel

You realize the justice department didn?t decide anything. A grand jury of Louisville citizens reviewed the facts (which you don?t know), and determined no true bill.

As long as Jones does not resist arrest or is not on drugs, statistics say there is almost 0% chance he will be shot by a cop
-
If the wrong person were to find out,
he may show him why he needs the police.
