This is all a bunch of ****ing bullshit. They're grasping at straws at this point looking for excuses not to play. There are side effects and risks with everything in life. Heart condition? Ask Chucky Mullins family about spinal cord injuries playing football. Even worse- 99% of the player want to play. I hope there is a lawsuit when someone loses draft stock because of these pussies.
And I'll say it again- I hope every single one of those woke ****ing ***** sports writers gets laid off and has to actually do a real job for once. Bunch of soft bitches.

Well...I guess since there will probably never be a “cure” for this thing then we will just need to cancel everything forever and live in our bubbles...to be safe.

Has anyone been able to articulate precisely how playing football markedly increases a college student's chances of having covid health issues vs him not playing football? If someone has a good link explaining it, please post.

You saying air high school football? If there is no college football but there is high school football there will be some questions asked.

That sucks. I don't see why we can't play with no fans at least.

Agree, while the start of this virus in humans may not have originally been intentional, there is no doubt that the Chinese Government (the real culprit here) chose to spread this around the world while at the same time trying to protect their own population. When China would not allow any flights domestically in and out of Wuhan but would allow all international travel in and out of there I'm not sure what other conclusion there is to come to?

And here is the direct result of the fear that media members have been propagating for the last 6 months. Why? It gets clicks and it sells advertising. Unfortunately there is a large swath of assholes in America that despise organized sports. Most of these are basement dwelling trolls that feed the cancel culture running through America right now.
And the end of the day university presidents are bowing to social media pressure and fear for their jobs. And let’s be honest here...everyone with any common sense knows why we are being bombarded with hot take headlines.
It’s going to be interesting when a bunch of the college football fearporn “journalists” are out of jobs. I wonder if the tune will change at that point?

Common sense says NEVER trust a Communist country to be transparent. And the World Health Org was complicit, as they are in the pockets of the CCP.

I predict on November 4th a lot of the COVID 19 fear simply dissipates.

Why would the media propagate fear when cancelling college football hurts the same media members' jobs?

Only if a certain senile candidate being hidden in his basement to prevent the public from understanding just how rapid his cognitive deterioration is advancing wins. If a certain Orange Man wins, the riots we've been seeing for weeks will look like child's play.
It's the roller coaster of hope that this program keeps us on that makes it hell being a State fan. - CadaverDawg, 10/15/22

It gets clicks
It draws attention
And some, not all, love drama. Almost as much as they hate trump.

Yeah, but, if college sports gets cancelled, some of the media are in danger of losing their jobs. They could be layed off.

Only if one candidate wins. If the other wins, then the unrest and riots that you've seen in past months will be nothing compared to what will happen.
