I think he has Florida too low and LSU and A&M too high.

Steele usually is pretty good but there are just too many head scratchers in this years top 25 .... I think he misses the mark on the top half of this list - the bottom half is just expected every year but there are a few there that I don't really agree with either like aTm @ #5 ..... I'm also not buying Miami, UT, or Iowa at the rank shown .... this is like Covid - nobody knows ... with no spring training , they only go by last years record I think and last years recruiting

Too late, the biggest Jimbro started the thread. Probably why he did it... and to throw a little shade at MSU.

He also has Notre Dame as a top 10 team even though his analysis shows that they are relying on multiple freshmen. There's no way they are a top 10 team playing multiple freshmen.
Ohio State might run the table until they get to the playoffs. Clemson and/or Bama will beat them. Again.
Otherwise, it's the same song and dance. Take 10-15 schools with big fanbases, throw them in a hat, pick them randomly to seed your top 25 and get everyone hyped for the season. Who cares how accurate it is? No one will remember this time next year. Just wash, rinse, repeat.

Kellen Mond is not a winner. In my opinion he doesn't have the goods.

100% agree. I've never been impressed by him. A lot of hype but that's it.

Wait until Jimbo screws up this season too. They'll finish barely in the top 25. Jimbo's seat will get pretty warm.

Robbie Faulk tweeted that TAM is the dark horse favorite for the 6th year in a row. Lolz.

A&M has 17 starters returning to a team that went 8-5. To expect them to win 10 in 2020 is almost common sense.
Mond- 258/419 61.6% 2897 yards 20/9 as a Jr
Dak Prescott- 244/396 61.6% 3449 yards 27/11 as a Jr
Just some QB comparison for context

Even Bo Bounds thinks we beat A&M. He was talking about it this morning. He doesn't think Mond could hold Costello's jock.

I think Costello is better too. The supporting cast is a big advantage for aTm though

So Dak was clearly better?

1) Dak was CLEARLY an elite leader, mond is a blob
2) Dak's stats are pretty clearly better.
3) Dak got better each year. Mond seems to be basically the same as he was when he got there.

Any reason you left out the rushing stats other than not fitting the agenda?
That said 17 starters is pretty strong

yeah ... Mond can play. Not sure why (other than bias) that he's getting hammered
