Dan Snyder
Twitter is buzzing about a piece coming out tomorrow about Redskins owner Dan Snyder. It?s supposed to be something bad that would force him to sell the team.

early murmurings are it isn't going to be good ... now I'm wondering if changing the name isn't more of a diversion than anything else
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

He probably wants out. Feed up with the bullshit.

He's on Epstein's list of Lolita Island clients. He also is accused of pimping out Redskin's cheerleaders to season ticket holders and VIPs he wanted to impress. At a photo shoot in Costa Rica passports were held until cheerleaders "attended" to certain people that were also at the same Costa Rican resort at the time.

If Snyder sells, we will likely see the highest pro sports sales price in history.
NFL, historical brand, large market, NFC East.

Not a fan of cancel culture, but if true I won't be sorry to see it applied to him. Guy has been an incorrigible asshole for as long as he's been in the public eye.

Yeah, he's a POS.
Honestly, the NFL should've done a better job of making sure people like Snyder don't buy the teams in the first place.
I don't think wanting to get rid of modern people for doing modern things is cancel culture. Cancel culture to me is the desire to get rid of things from a bygone era without taking into context the normal beliefs & ethics of that era.
I mean, imagine that in the year 2150 the people that run PETA somehow come to influence in America & society cancels all people that ate meat from our current era because in 2150 animals have the same rights as humans.
Can you imagine that? My point isn't to necessarily to compare that hypothetical scenario to current issues but rather to show that the context of the times matters. You can't expect people from long ago to have the same ethical & moral code as you have today. History doesn't work that way

What are the details? Not giving money to the Washington Post, but the headline doesn't look to live up to the hype. Not really surprised that there are sexual harassment claims, especially considering the stories about the cheerleaders. Are there some sort of insane details that makes this a bigger story?
non-paywalled, high level summary:

Absent some pretty lurid details, I don't understand the hype. Certainly bad to have 14 different employees claim sexual harassment over a thirteen year period, but not exactly what it was built up to be.

My bad, I haven't read the article yet, I was just replying to Trap's comment; if it were indeed true, that is.

The story was a nothing burger.
Sexual harassment is bad and should potentially get some people fired, but the story itself was over sold. Snyder isn’t even blamed for anything.
If the media liked Snyder the story likely never gets written. Pure agenda hit piece. Not worth your time reading

THIS ^^^ ..... I hate to see anyone exploited but the story I saw last night wasn't much - Fox News just over-promoted for whatever reason - didn't even suggest Synder was involved or even knew. He probably did but has too many fall guys around him to get seriously implicated - and those guys are falling on the proverbial sword already
