I live in KC. I like the Chiefs and have followed the team all my life. IMO, Chris Jones is one of two best DT's in NFL and is a difference-maker at a position that can be plug-n-played by a lot of 6-3,330 pounders. IMO, Chris Jones is worth the investment by KC. I will miss seeing him play and hope he gives back to the school that first believed in him and his abilities (same for Dak, Bernardrick and others).

These were the top comments. All of these are non-chief fan replies. I don't see one Chiefs fan complaining. Maybe you can find me one.

I didn't look deeply enough to determine if they were Chiefs fans or opposing fans ... my bad for the fake news - thanks for the correction because I also am a longtime Chiefs fan as well and am glad Chris got paid - he's quite deserving IMO

I suspect it'll be heavily front loaded the first two years while Mahomes is still dirt cheap. Hope he balls out and demands a bigger payday after 3 years of it.
Bodes well for Jeffrey Simmons in the future. Can MSU claim DLine U yet? We at least have a lockdown on DT U.
