Good, little known related story to the filming of "For the Love of the Game"

In September 2005 the movie was being filmed in Baltimore & Cal Ripken allowed Costner to stay at his home during the filming. One day Ripken left for the ballpark only to need to return home for something a little while later. He found Costner and his wife making love. 2 games before breaking the streak, Ripken called the Orioles & said he could not play that night. So the Orioles said the lights were broken & postponed the game so that Ripken's streak would be preserved.

    Yes!

Also, I remember her in Space Camp (1986).

Btw, that kid on the left is ‎Joaquin Phoenix, one of his first movies, when he was going by Leaf Phoenix.

Ray Liotta got tickets to a Cubs game- ended up sitting next to Mark Grace's wife. Mark Grace got divorced shortly after. Cant remember if Liotta married her or not- but was with her awhile

Met Costner back 10-12 years ago when he was filming Mr Brooks. Solid guy

Mr. Brooks is a very underrated movie. William Hurt is great.

Gun, cal broke the record in 1995 not 2005 and love of the game is from 1999 so your timelines are not even close. I'm gonna say this story is not true.

If it wasn't a rumor, Cal is a very forgiving man as they stayed together another 20 yrs. They are divorced now, however.
