    RIP Charlie Daniels

    A true Patriot left us at age 83
    OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
    The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

    I shared an outdoor lunch with him and his crew in Wiggins about a million years ago ... friendly and down to earth as it gets

    Sad day. Not sure if he was a "Great American", but he was one hell of a fiddler.

    He was an American, with his opinions, and he chose to stand up for his viewpoints at certain times. Good for him.
    He will be missed.
