OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.

Texas A&M should be a national power, but they can't get out of their own way. Let them run themselves to the ground.

Also, someone do a wellness check on Msstate7

Jimbo will leave A&M in shambles and on probation before it's all over with.

Feel bad for Texas State since the NCAA will hammer them to show TAM that they mean business

And lots of restrictions on their recruiting:

    One years of probation.
    A fine of $5,000.
A reduction in football official visits by 17 days during the 2019-20 academic year.
An off-campus recruiting ban for the entire football coaching staff for November 2019, which reduced the permissible evaluation days for the 2019-20 academic year by 19.
A seven-day off-campus recruiting ban for the football coaching staff for the 2020 spring off-campus recruiting period and a 10-day off-campus recruiting ban for the football coaching staff for the 2020 fall off-campus recruiting period.
The university ended its recruitment of the prospect.
A ban on recruiting any prospects from the prospect's high school for the 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-222 academic years.
A six-month show-cause order for the head coach. The terms of the show-cause order include a previously served nine-day ban on phone calls, emails or texts with prospects in January 2020; a reduction in off-campus recruiting contact days by three for the December 2019 through January 2020 contact period; a ban on all off-campus recruiting activities for the fall 2020 contact period; additional one-on-one rules education; and a public statement from the head coach addressing the violations.
A six-month show-cause order for the assistant coach. The terms of the show-cause order include a previously served nine-day ban on phone calls, emails or texts with prospects in January 2020; a reduction in off-campus recruiting contact days by three for the December 2019 through January 2020 contact period; a ban on all off-campus recruiting activities for the fall 2020 contact period; and additional one-on-one rules education.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Can coaches even recruit off campus right now?

No idea how bad it is for them with the particular HS

Interestingly, Stan Wilcox is essentially head of punishing schools for the NCAA. He was the AD at FSU when Jimbo left for TAMU.

My question was more will coaches be able to do much in-person recruiting with the covid pandemic? I honestly don't know how this is being handled.

That's the reason the NCAA keeps extending the dead period to prevent any exposure.

Could this help us out with MJ Daniels? I know it’s been said A&M is a big threat for him because of McKinnley Jackson being there. Maybe this could sway him even more our way. Might be wishful thinking.

I’ve never understood the folks that couldn’t see through his bullshit. He’s a horrible coach.

So does this mean Jimbo won't be on the sidelines this year? Is this basically a 1 year suspension?

Jimbo was a snake in the grass before Bjork. They hired both of them because they are snake in the grass and was willing to sell their soles to win. This will be two schools that Bjork was leading that has gotten in trouble. You think he would be fired.
