Yeah might have to say "no" to some things. But it can be done on a case by case basis. Getting rid of a state flag in 2020 that has a symbol synonymous with hate doesn't mean you are agreeing to give everything over to the big bad left. It means you are showing discernment and are being decent on this specific subject. This "we can't give in or they'll take everything" argument is a logical fallacy.
