Yea I put this in the 4-7, 5-8 thread last night.
He did that against a top 5 Wash defense and a top 17 Utah defense too.

I think Costello can hold his own with any of those guys. The problem for KJ is the other teams have much better offensive weapons

Prob so. But Hill helps with that. As does a veteran OL where the young guy is a 5 star.

And if I'm choosing, I'd rather have the qb and find the weapons, 90% of whom are interchangeable, then have lots of wr with an average qb

I realize our WRs aren't anywhere near the top half of the league, but I'm still not sure we have a grasp at how good or bad they are.

That position has literally been so poorly coached & schemed for in the past 12 years, that I still don't know what we've got.

My hope is that they surprise us this year due to a legit scheme & coaching

We have enough WR firepower to be a deadly offense.

I don't think we have a grasp on how good or bad they are because Joe rarely played anyone other than Guidry, Osirus, and Deddrick. Javonta Payton should have started over Guidry. Which probably would have made Guidry better. Dontae Jones is better than Farrod too. Austin Williams can catch the ball some too.

Leach likes to play eight receivers so we'll get to see more of our weapons.
