Allmond?s video looks great. I?m curious as to why she isn?t ranked higher.

My initial feeling is recruiting will not drop off at all.

I had not previously seen S Feagin?s name. That would definitely be an outstanding addition. What do you think are our chances?
-
Where did you see we were involved with these recruits? Appreciate the update!

Teonni Key, #3 wing in the country (2021) is considering MSU too.

Did not notice any Madison Hayes news but ESPN has her as signed with us now.

Ok, you know what I mean...there is still speculation she is not totally sold on MSU w new coach. Has she re-committed?

- Morasha Wiggins- Miss. State offer reported April 22 (also, she had previously been to Miss. State on a visit...during Coach Schaefer and staff).
- Aziaha James recently cut her list of schools down to 5, and included Miss. State in this 5. Miss. State had not previously been listed in her top 10.
Se'Quoia Allmond- Miss. State offer reported April 16.
- Jasmine Shavers- Miss. State offer reported April 18.
- Sania Feagin- recruitment has been mostly quiet. Miss. State could use an injection of young frontcourt talent. Why not Sania Feagin (out of Georgia)? Remember seeing her name mentioned. Coach Nikki McCray-Penson recently retweeted out about Feagin being ranked in the top 10 nationally regardless of class.

Yes, but if she wants to go elsewhere we would release her just like we released the TX girl that had also signed but decided to follow Vic to UT. Lest we forget, Garrison Brooks signed with us as well for all the good it did us.

Right, I was just clarifying that that's not an update on her situation, that it doesn't mean she's decided to stick with that and come to State. She hasn't made a final decision yet, though I took the last update from her mom as a positive for us.

My opinion....
Continuing to build, maintain a very strong frontcourt....big key. Top level perimeter talent has started to really influx into the SEC, and top women's basketball programs as a whole. (SEC examples) Highly rated high school standout Jersey Wolfenbarger to Arkansas today. Also, recently, they picked up a huge talent in Oregon State transfer guard Destiny Slocum. Kentucky loading up on the perimeter as well....has added several McDonald's All-American perimeter players. Couple of high profile post players into the league....Georgia recently picked up Rutgers transfer center Maori Davenport, and Ole Miss picks up the very talented Maryland transfer. This, in addition to the McDonald's All American that they picked up earlier. Still, teams like Miss. State and South Carolina continue to hold big advantages in overall frontcourt.....which could continue to seperate them from the rest of the league, and keep them with the very top teams nationally...competing for national championships.
In addition to family, academics, ect....
Miss. State....maintain and continue building in the frontcourt. Stout defensive presence. Also, keep the tradition of strong point guard play.
All that said....God First

- Maintaining, and continuing to improve on the frontcourt as a whole....big keys.
- Stout point guard play
Coach McCray-Penson wil really stress defense and rebounding. She and her staff had Old Dominion defending at a very high level, and they tended to gang rebound really well. Madison Hayes.....really fits well with her style of play.

She's already reconfirmed she's sticking with us.

She has not. Rickea Jackson and the rest of the current roster has, but not Madison Hayes.
