Do you think not having spring sports saved some schools money?

The only savings is travel and meals. Salaries, scholarships etc already are taken care of.

I suspect that still means most schools saved money. How many spring sports generate enough ticket, concessions, and tv revenue to cover the cost of hosting games and traveling to away games.

Even for schools like MSU that probably did lose a significant amount of revenue associated with baseball, I'd be curious if that is mroe than what they lose on travel and hosting games for other spring sports.

Certainly the only schools that lost any money are those that generate + revenue from Baseball, very few. There are a lot of other non-revenue spring sports, softball, track & field etc. they were all shutdown and the net is that all saved $'s.

We lost some revenue because the NCAA reduced it's normal annual payout to schools because there was no March Madness.
