Vandy QB Allan Waters Transfers to MSU

He was on scholarship for Vandy last season & attempted 9 passes while playing vs Florida.

He'll be a RS Sophomore this coming season.

While this may not seem like a big deal, I think it could end up being a huge deal in that Waters may just be good enough to be the backup & allow Shrader to RS.

If Leach can RS Shrader & still have 3 years with him, IMO that gives Shrader a much better chance at becoming a really really good QB.

That being said, if we get Robertson, he'll probably boat race all of them.

We will have a good crop of WR and QB's as long as Leach is here. I can't wait to see what WR he brings in 2021.

We looked stacked at QB. Now I wanna see some big bad DL and OL along with a few LB.

Hopefully we get a Wes Welker to walk on - The OKC legend that OU never considered

It only matters if your #1 is any good.

Walters is a walkon & I don't see him being eligible this season unless the NCAA is really generous.

He had a good offer list out of high school. OM wanted him. He's coming as a walk-on, so that's pretty cool

So did Vandy basically process him? It wouldn't seem like a wise life decision to leave a scholarship from Vandy to walk on at State unless he REALLY believes he has an NFL future. Good for us though.
