Dealing like a grown ass man.

If Ginn returns to form, we are winning the Natty in 2021.
- 3 potential 1st round weekend starters.
- Bedner as closer
- We almost need Allen to miss the rest of this season so he can red shirt.

get the bats in line with a rotation of Ginn, Smith, and Macleod?!?!? Unhittable. I will second that statement.

JT probably won?t come back.

I don’t care how good you are, you can never guarantee a national championship in baseball. Just ask Vandy the year they went 27-3 in the conference. They didn’t even go to CWS.

this is true... never promise a Natty. BUT... it's fun to consider based upon what we have.

Bednar isn?t gonna be the closer. He is a legit starter.
I?d look for Sims in that roll...

While I do not personally sit in his living room, I feel confident saying Ginn is done at State.
-
I just don't see Ginn coming back.

Do you think that Allen would comeback in that scenario? The NCAA can be finicky with medical redshirts. Honestly he seems a little limited to me as far as his profile goes because he seems like a tweener that's built like a second baseman but defensively he's really probably a first baseman. He can hit though. That's his best attribute by far.

To me it would make a lot more sense for him to come back. Yes, MLB drafts off of potential but there's also a game performance component. Just because some random person that shows up to a carnival and just throws 93 at the pitching machine it doesn't mean that they can get pro hitters out. He also needs to prove that he is healthy. It seems to me like he would probably lose a lot more money sitting out than rehabbing and coming back because he still is going to have draft leverage. So he isn't really losing anything by coming back IMO. See Ethan Small.

Problem is that he won't be getting a head start in pro ball because he can't pitch for a year.
Other than hating school and not making grades, there is literally no logical reason for him to not come back

Pretty sure Ginn is a good student and obviously likes Msu. I think he will be back.

Really good chance JT comes back next year.

I do. It wouldn't make any sense to sign for 50% of what he'd get if he came back
He's not a huge money guy, but, if he came back, he could try playing the outfield again & instead of getting $150K, could maybe get 350K-400K

Yeah, again, unless he hates school, coming back is by fair his best option.
- If JT had an injury that only took 4 months to rehab from, then going pro would be a viable option because he could get a head start on his pro career.
- However, with ulnar nerve surgery, it takes about the same time as Tommy John & thus he wouldn't get any head start on his pro career. So it makes 100% sense to come back & just go higher in the draft.

I have a little inside info on JT. Write it down if Commerce says it. It?s quite scary.

It?s a very very high probability that Mr. Ginn has a clause in his insurance policy that would greatly lower his payout if he doesn?t return next year.
