    Either name is appropriate. Lady Dawgs gives them some individuality, and avoids confusion with the men's team. There's nothing derogatory about the name. They've been the Lady Dawgs ever since the team was formed.

    I agree there is nothing derogatory about being called the Lady Dawgs, but they haven't been the Lady Dawgs since Vic became coach. Most schools have removed the "Lady" in front of women's teams.

    Hard to believe we have only given up 13 points in the 1st Q but yet we are behind. We can look terrible offensively at times.

    They might as well not even have announcers. You can't hear them over the crowd noise. ESPN just doesn't have the mics set right.
