Thats why we suck. No other way to slice it. We have earned the moniker that we suck.

Well, we looked better against Villanova w/o Nick than we have the rest of the year.

Agree. Hopefully he reevaluates this offseason

You can't change a leopard's spots...?...Howland will be the same shitty coach next year that he is this year...?.

Would this team had been better if nick didn't come back and Molinar had played his mins

I give USCE credit. They are physical. They endured the fouls first half and never changed aggressiveness. It?s almost like officials got tired of calling fouls on them.
They made shots but we couldn?t adjust to the way the game is called. May be wrong but I feel that they play a game of foul every possession and eventually the officiating will change so they don?t call too many fouls.
Might be a smart strategy against some teams

Same way Bama football used to play pass defense.

I don't want to blast Nick. But I will blast Howland for not benching him when he's not playing well. Molinar should have played more at Oxford and he should have played more tonight.

I wouldn't give someone credit for that lmao. That's just bullshit basketball. **** SCAR and I wish we didn't ever have to play them. Lamest team to play on our schedule.

I just don't think it's nick's fault. He's not a pg, and he's not a shooter. He's just sorta a tweener. I like him and I want him back next season, but I want no part of him logging the lion's share of mins at the 1.

Honestly that’s on the officials. I know they get tired of calling fouls but the teams would stop when all their starters foul out in 20 minutes of play. It’s like anything else - they’ll keep doing it as long as they get away with it

LOL at those that thought we were turning some corner. Howland coached teams never turn the corner. It's the same thing every year. This talent is better than the results. Oh well, same ole same ole.

I agree. But Martin coaches a foul coach to basketball. At some points officials stop calling because you can call something on most every possession. Eventually you start getting away with shit

That?s my point. They don?t. Again other teams weather the aggressiveness but the officials do want to make their mark to control the game. I may be wrong but I think Martin coaches to keep playing the same way. They will eventually quit blowing the whistle.

If this team were coached by Richard Williams and/or Stans, we would be at 23-25 wins now. Two things would be a complete certainty.....we would be nasty on defense and we would own the boards! With Williams, we would run multiple offensive sets vs man and zone defenses.

Yes, but you wouldn't have the talent! So it's back to 19-22 wins. Sorry, truth hurts.
