Macleod is a beast.
Pounds the zone and is not afraid to challenge anybody.

Really good recovery there only giving up the 2 runs.

He’s a good Saturday guy. Not sure I see him as a legit Friday guy yet

Hold my beer Shotgun, McClead is legit, he is our best starter. But I would have no problem keeping him as our Saturday starter. After hearing Eric Dubose talking about him says a lot to me. Dude will be all Sec b4 his time is up.
Seems we have some good strike throwers.

He may very well be All SEC, but he's not on the same level as many of the Friday starters in this league or Ginn's when Ginn is healthy.

LOL, he has pitched in two games, as far as a healthy Ginn, I wish him well, McCleod seems to be on his way to a good season, maybe great. Not many freshmen pitchers are Friday guys, but I think he is our best guy. If he wouldn't have been hurt last year he would have been in the weekend rotation. Ask Eric Dubose about him.

Macleod could be a Friday night guy.

Macleod is elite
He has 3 big time out pitches and can throw them for strikes in any count. When he hits his rhythm, those innings go quick. He is a Friday night guy.
The second at bat for the leadoff hitter was great. He showed him back to back changeups to go 0-2. Then back to back 92 mph fastballs across the letters for a 4 pitch K.

Bednar impressed me
First 15 pitches sat 91-92 then on pitch 16 it was like arm feels good 97 and for rest of that first inning in the game sat 94-97 with his fs - it was good to see him get multiple innings work too
