WTH is wrong with our WBB team???
We haven't payed a good game since USC.
-
All you have to do is play a 2-3 zone against us... we have no shooters. A zone makes a dribble drive offense ineffective.

Yep, if we don't find some outside shooting we won't be a bit better next year. Almost all of our scoring has to be done within 6 feet of the basket. Tonight, our defense has been very bad as well. On pace to give up 92 points.

If girls could run a 1-3-1 zone, we wouldn't get 20 for the game.

Hopefully we will pay better in the second half

You miss the last two games? 16 pt win at Vandy & 41 point blow out of OM?

You must not follow WBB. Those were not last two games. Olemiss is probably worst D1 team in country. We played worst WBB in 30 years for 3 quarters vs Vandy. Big 4th is only reason we won. Vandy not any good either BTW. Since USC, any team with a pulse has had their way with us.

I am ok with paying more

Forget shooting. We can't even dribble ball up court or hit a layup the past few weeks and everybody drives right past us. We can't even play D anymore.
-
Just like our guys. Throw a simple 2-3 zone and we literally cannot score. Then we are giving up fast break points as well. And the teams we are playing is taking advantage of our slow rotations on defense. Basically dribble driving us to death cause we refuse to play a in your face zone.

Someone mentioned it earlier and I think they may be right - our legs looked dead

Why is Bibby still in there? What is she providing? Her main contribution was her 3 pt shot but she misses the few chances she gets with those. She's a liability on defense bc she's slow. She can barely dribble. Somethings got to change.

One word to answer your question: Rebounds. We lack rebounding down low. Bibby can get a rebound. No doubt she's lost a step since the injury, but she really hustles and got really good basketball IQ. JMHO.

This also looks a lot like our first game vs AU at home where they shot lights out in the first and hopefully we will get a same result this time

Auburn 6-9 on 3 pointers.
-
They are very young and they are 22-4. Nothing I'd say no matter what happens tonight.
-
The fact that we are in this game at all is fairly impressive when we aren’t playing great and they are 9-12 from 3

Could we trade Auburn one of our players for one of their 3 point shooters?

Hunter needs to be on floor period. She is a good 3 pt shooter. She hasn't gotten enough minutes to get in any kinda groove this year.

She has been, but she is struggling this year. And she's taking almost 3/game, it's not like she isn't ever able to shoot. The people we need shooting more from behind the line right now are Rickea Jackson, Wiggins, and Matharu.
