We definitely need to bring in some impact C/PF's in the next year, either as big-time recruits or solid transfers. Next year all of our C/PF except Gaston will be juniors and seniors.

Does anyone think Promise is going to be productive?
    We need another post player.

Cooks, the transfer will help in this area.

Is Cooks going to be a physical post player? Appearance wise she looks similar to Jessica Carter. I really don't know anything about her style of play. We need a banger type to help in the post that won't get pushed around.

Cooks is a PF. She shoots 3s but has the height to rebound and post up. Looks more like a finesse player, not a banger.

What we really need is another top line perimeter shooter. Texas A&M packed that zone in on us this past Sunday and it was difficult for us to score for 3 quarters because we could not make a shot more than 6 feet from the basket.

And Danberry is really struggling as of late with her 12-16 ft jumper. Chloe and Hunter have been disappointing for majority of the year. Going into the season, I'd say those would have been our main outside threat. Amazing we've still been able to do what we've done thus far.

DeYonna Gaston is a physical four. However she will be a freshman. With a year of experience R Jackson could really up her rebounding. Once Y Morris gets used to the speed of the game she could also provide a physical presence. Finally, if P Taylor heals she could also provide a strong post option.

Both Carter and Morris currently appear to be ahead of her. Mobility, issues with Promise. She just needs to keep working hard, doing her best, including mobility, quickness drills, ect Remember, Coach Schaefer indicating that they had both she and Morris doing a good bit of jump rope.

Promise is just a sophomore, just needs to keep her head up, keep working hard.

That's 14 Scholarships. One is still available.
Need to move Matharu to PG list. She'll will go down as one of the best we've ever had at that position.

Vic will never go with a shoot-first point guard. She may back up some there, but she may be the best scorer we ever had at the 2. And I think that the chance her defense improves is way higher than the chance she will settle in at point. I love her and think Vic knows how special she will be, but it won't be at point.
