Got to thinking about Baylor earlier
It boggles the mind how quickly Baylor has been able to get back on its feet in football and basketball after such huge scandals. The basketball team had a damn player murder another player over drugs and the coach tried covering it up and the football team was apparently free to rape as they pleased because the coach covered for them. That has to be the most corrupt University in the country.
Think about it, that is crazy.

They actually got BETTER. The basketball scandal happened in 2003
“The basketball program experienced a resurgence under coach Scott Drew with an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2008 for the first time in 20 years with a 9–7 conference record and the team's first national ranking in 39 years. “

They got better and we hung onto Bury for 2-3 seasons too long.

Let this be proof that at the end of the day, making the right hire is all that matters. We can talk about how Bama recruits itself but if they had hired Rich Rod instead of Saban are they worth noting? We saw what happened under Ray here.
Make good hires, things will work out

Hard to argue with this. Also if you don't hire morally corrupt people you will be better off in the long run.

I've been thinking about Baylor recently as well. All the bad shit aside, they've resurrected their programs from the dead very fast.

We beat Baylor and Louisville in the NIT two years ago and now look at them this season
