Miss. State Women's Basketball vs Auburn

    Miss. State vs Auburn
    7:00 pm, Starkville (Humphrey, Coliseum)

Auburn led by Unique Thompson, one if the top post players in the SEC....16.9 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. Another really good matchup for Jessika Carter and the other post players. These type matchups really help in their development, help guage progression.

Also, a lot of what Auburn does defensively is related to a noted strong zone press.

Their zone could get to our young PGs. Auburn has trouble on offense though.

The game's a little loose so far, but Bibby is playing aggressively.

Noticed earlier that the Notre Dame women has sort of fallen off the map this year. I had no idea they'd fallen off so far.

The girls may have been spoiled by Ole Miss a little. They're having trouble with Auburn.

15 all at the end of the first quarter. Took a long 3 by Danberry to tie the game at the clock.

Morris is playing well. She seems to not be the best runner though.

Vic will probably have a few high intensity words to say in the locker room.

Down by 7 at halftime at home to Auburn. Didn't expect that playing a team with only 1 conference win.

Auburn is playing their butts off and we have some girls sleepwalking. We’ve been very up and down lately and our man to man defense has not been very good against decent teams.

We should be fine if we pick it up a bit and auburn returns to their averages shooting the ball

Carter is a no show against any team with a decent inside game. Our young guards can't handle the press.

Morris was dominant in the first half, had the hot hand.

Their coach was crying at a presser the other day talking about how hard this season has been. 17 her.

Probably would just sit there with his arms crossed until they call them back out.

Vic seems to be tinkering with different combinations tonight even before some foul trouble. Auburn is shooting lights out and probably cools off but our women need to get their shit together.
That Ole Miss score is brutal.
