Good deal.

I?m thinking we end up landing in the 30-35 region once it?s all said and done (including Feb signings)

Then it'll be a very uncharacteristic year for the rankings. Going back for the last 10 years, the lowest ranking a recruiting score of 218 got was 30, and that happened once. So what you're saying isn't impossible, but unlikely given the trends of the last 10 years.
If we land Calvin Johnson, then he's going to get a significant bump, so that 218 number will go up a little as well.

AU is going to hire someone by today and then make a ton of calls trying to secure their core recruits and then try to convince about 25 other to wait till Feb

What I'm being told is they aren't going to hire someone by today and that it might not be finalized until the end of the week.
The majority want Cristobal. But Steele has a ton of influential folks in his camp. Auburn not having a coach by Wednesday could be an issue for some of their guys they were counting on to sign Wednesday.

I would hope that we push for some of Auburn’s uncommitted guys like Hunter or Roberts.

Best not count on CJ.

It?s impressive, in fact admirable.
I?ll believe it, when I see it.

His choice if he doesn't sign with us. Give the kid credit, he can go to almost any school he wants with his academics.

Jack Abraham signed today as a preferred walk on I believe.

Led the nation in comp % in 2018, and he was 10th in 2019. In an offense that dinks and dunks for the most part, comp % would seem to be a big stat. This guy could be a sneaky pick to start game 1.

Interesting. I'm all for competition.
I think Rogers is decent, but he's got to improve his arm strength & physicality to increase his playmaking ability. The offense basically has to run to perfection right now for us to move the ball because he's not fast, not physical enough to break a tackle, & doesn't have the arm strength to rip it in there.
If Sawyer were coming in at Christmas, I think there would be a real chance of him beating Roger out, but, with Sawyer coming in in July, & Leach having a disgust for starting FR QBs, I think he'll try to RS Sawyer, which makes the Abraham signing huge
CAN'T PUT A SADDLE ON A MUSTANG
Quit Your Bi$&$&?!, He's Not Going to Run the Ball More

How many walk on QB’s does Leach typically have?? Just off the top of my head you have the kid from Vandy, now Abraham, Stolberg, and the kid from Tupelo.
I guess you have to have that many to run the passing drills he requires, but dang that’s a lot of qb’s. Yes, I realize most will not play, but that still seems like a lot of people at that one position.

with his attrition rate you can never have too many players

The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Canon Boone with a crystal ball to the good guys.
Huge, huge recruiting win for the staff if they close it tomorrow.

He'd certainly have to take better care of the ball.

Just a heads up, Chance Lovertich (South Alabama) is considering transferring depending on who USA inks as their new coach. His dad told me it would be MSU or USM. Chance said he can beat out Rogers.
