Moore should be a 4 star. He's a game-changer.
I want to see us go out and get a grad transfer WR, but if we have a spot for a HS one, I'd like us to consider Antonio Harmon. His speed isn't going to blow you away, but he's got a big frame and would be a physical force in the red zone. I know Leach prefers the shifty, quick WRs, but Harmon is a good players that's just sitting out there.
I think the Deion ship has likely sailed as well, but that doesn't mean we can't get back into it. Hopefully we figure something out.
Harmon doesn't fit this offense in any way. We need quick guys, not big guys.

Disagree. I think the majority of your guys need to be quick. Every coach in America will tell you they want "quick" guys. But I think there's a place in this offense for a possession WR that you can throw 50/50 balls to and can use his body to shield defenders off for short yards. I don't agree that Harmon couldn't fit this offense. I'm aware that Leach hasn't typically used these guys, but this is an adaptation he could make.

I wouldn't mind a big tight end type receiver ... one who a safety or linebacker can't tear the ball away from ....or a bigger body to catch that 4 yard pass in front of waiting linebackers. Hell, I wished we would go back to a conventional tight end

I miss tight ends and fullbacks

lol ... I do too but even Mullen used a full back in only his first year ... We used to get a lot of production from the tight end and I think it would slow some LB's down - at the very least it would probably bring opposing defenses up to at least 4 linemen and possibly change some of the zone coverage a little

I think we sort of agree. I'd like to keep Nabors and the guys we currently have and add Keon Coleman. If we get a grad transfer it needs to be a true slot guy like a Jameon Lewis.

We have no interest in Harmon. Harmon was overrated. Grew into a TE.

We're still in contact with him so "no interest" is incorrect. He's not high-priority, but you don't stay in contact with guys you have no interest in. I will agree that he was overrated initially. He was getting comps to DK Metcalf which was just really unfair to him. He's not close to the physical freak DK is.

I hear you but he used fullbacks through the 2012(year 4 season). Patrick Hanrahan a lot in 2009 and 10, Sylvester Hemphill and Adrian Marcus platoon in 2011 and 12.

I really have no idea why he went 100% away from it. You would think it would be easy to find some kid in Mississippi that grew up a MSU fan that would be willing to walk-on and fill the spot and do a decent job.

Or flex a TE or big WR like Malcolm Johnson into that spot for a couple of plays. I mention Johnson specifically because he played FB for Cleveland for 2 seasons.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

That one has seemed to catch the 24/7 guys totally off guard although. The first reaction would be an OM offer (since he's from Oxford) but they're saying that's not the case. ARK and Auburn have made a habit of screwing with our CB board last minute the past few years so I could see one of them with a late offer. FSU pokes around MS a good bit lately or my crazy guess is Freeze is already starting to do some recruiting from wherever he's headed.

My guess is that with Toles, it's that time of year, with the December signing period, where coaches have to make real decisions on whether or not they want to sign a player early.
With the transfer portal, you simply can't take the same developmental players you have in the past when you could use that spot for an immediate contributor out of the portal.
As more guys declare for the transfer portal, our options are becoming more clear & room much be made.

The rumor was early though that the staff really liked him and thought he was really underrated by the services. Maybe something changed, maybe it didn't. Almost nothing surprises me at this point.

That was before SR film or maybe the coaches believe they can get a kid that is better.
Maybe it isn't that they didn't like Toles but rather they like someone else better.

Based on the tweet I don't think that's the case because he said he discussed it with his family.

Meh, if they aren't good enough there's no issue. We found a better player.
