I like optimism, but if you look at LSU and see a team we should beat you're delusional or blind. Texas has a better DL than us and LSU is blocking them ok. Texas has a faster secondary than we do. Burrow is a better passer and decision maker than we'll have faced all year and his WR's are big and able to go get it. Offensively we might be able to move the ball, but it's Aranda and they're pretty talented all round so we aren't scoring 30+.

We have a better QB, OL, punter, and RB. They have a better everything else and their D knows their assignments and how to tackle better than ours.

Unless something changes, our soft defense will keep us from competing at the highest level. Realistically I’d say we have a 30% chance at going 7-5, 50% chance at going 8-4 and 20% chance of going 9-3. Anything above or below that range is just simply unrealistic.
