So OM is gonna run a 3-4? LOLZ
This is going to be fun to watch
No doubt Mac is a better DC than Crime Dog, but has anyone ever seen a defense get better than the previous year when transitioning to a 3-4?
Does OM even have the LBs on their roster to run a 3-4?
I know Sirmon was 3-4 but what was Grantham?

Yup. Sure you can blitz better out of the 3-4, but why would anyone throw?

3 man front. Never played w 4 linebackers. And I'm sure they won't either. Nobody does these days.

They will be dog shit on defense again. They are undersized in key positions. Mac will be better, but that ain?t saying much. Their offensive line will also be a circus side show.

They will be better. Better coaching just about everyone back and a couple of decent jucos. W that said, the LB they had sucked. Decent talent up front w Jones and Coatney. Zero depth. They have to be better. Which won't mean a lot. And will be worse on offense.

I think their defense will "look" better statistically just because they will be a running team on offense which will eat up more clock and not put their defense on the field as much.

Yep gonna be a rough year on D. They don't have the horses up front to run a 3-4 and probably not enough LB either.

I remember Grantham's first year at UGA. It was rough. And they had plenty of talent on defense. They looked lost on every play.

You can do a lot of run stunts out of it was well. Their top 2 DTs are pretty good, after that its a major drop off. They will probably be better but being better than historically bad aint saying much

True but unm has no true nose guard and not a lot of size on their dL(or depth) If they don't back that small dl up with some big lbs they're gonna get destroyed in the run game. They probably will no matter what d they run this year though lol
