If beating 2013 South Carolina counts as a signature win, then so does beating 2009 Ole Miss and 2010 Florida. Ditto for 2013 Georgia.

Agreed. This Carolina team is less than impressive.

I said so-called because it's in the eye of the beholder.

So then what's our excuse when they beat us?

It won't be a terrible loss, but it will be disappointing. South Carolina is no better than Auburn, and we should have won there on the road. Hopefully we'll get it done at SC.

We may beat them, who knows. I just hate how we as MSU fans have to justify everything to make our coach look better. When other teams beat USC, they aren't that good, but when we lose to USC, they are just another tough team that Mullen isn't supposed to beat. Basically all we demand of Mullen is to beat Troy, Bowling green, Alcorn and Kentucky. He may not get a big win, but it's not like he feels pressure to either.

We won't beat SC at Columbia. Our secondary is our Achilles heel and will cost us. Tennessee has improved mainly due to increased effort and good line play. They're not a bad team anymore.

    A) And I hate how people will come up with bullshit to just make Mullen look worse

    B) There is nothing anybody can do to make Mullen feel anymore pressure. This is always the stupidest comment people make. He is trying to ****ing win every damn time we take the field. Nothing anybody can say to him will make him suddenly smarter and our players play better at given moments during games.

I'm disappointed we have lost a few games that maybe we could have pulled off- but Mullen's losses come to 10+ win teams or are on the road. We're not losing to 6-7 win teams in DWS.
