Yep who played the BN CDR oh yeah the you will shoot your eye out kid. He did a good job in the pic. Another film I can't find was a silent Pic of an American Platoon crossing no mans land with an doomsday tune being played. It only showed the men and when they were getting picked off. Wish I could remember the tile of it.
The Big Parade, thanks Google. Also another WW1 movie I always watched, Well SGT York of course was The Blue Max.

I still keep Sgt York. Watched many times and will watch again. Lost Batallion will remain as an all time favorite

My father-in-law grew up in South Florida. There was a Spanish-American War Vet that lived in his neighborhood, one of Teddy's Rough Riders. He said the guy used to wear his old uniform when he was out walking his dogs,

That kicks ass liver. I got drunk drinking with my mom in the bar in San Antonio where teddy discussed war preparations
