    2008 Tim Tebow & Florida

Won a National Championship with a 64% completion rate. Tebow threw for 2,746 yards in 14 games with 30 tds and only 4 int. He rushed for 673 yards with 12 tds.

In two games this year our QBs are on pace to throw 3,626 yards in 14 games with 49 tds and 7 int. 1,876 rushing yards on 203 carries with 14 tds (tds will be way higher than 14). While averaging a 41% completion rate.

Tebow was their highest rusher that year but they really were a 3 headed monster at RB with Percy Harvin, Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps rushing for a total of 1,916 yards and 21 tds. That's on 232 carries. If you add in Tebow's rushing it's 2,589 yards, and 33 tds on 408 carries.

Kylin Hill is on pace for 1,827 yards on 182 carries with 14 tds (14 more receiving). (Give him 232 carries like the Florida 3 headed monster got he's on pace for 2,328 yards with 18 tds.) Add in our QBs rushing to Hill's numbers and MSU is on pace for 3,703 yards and 28 tds on the ground. Florida with Tebow, Harvin, Rainey and Demps rushed for 2,500 yards and won a national title.

My point after all that is that it really doesn't matter how shitty your completion % is when you're rushing the ball as ridiculously well as we are and throwing for as many yards and touchdowns as we are. We obviously aren't going to keep on pace of having a 41% rate all year and we will come back to the pack some in the other stats so try to enjoy the other Xbox video game numbers while we got em and not focus on one low stat (completion %).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall too many play action passes the 1st 2 games. If I'm right, I expect that to change and help out tremendously.

The passing game's gonna have to pick it up if we are to make a deep run. When you are gashing a team on the ground, the PAP should be deadly.

Out of the six teams Bama, Ole Miss and State has faced KSU had the best defense.

That's all true. But tebows numbers are total after playing LSU and Bama. I think we handle LSU and Bama and run all over them, but until we do it again, comparison projections are just guesses at this point.

We will know here pretty soon. As for right now, we are nasty and people are on notice.

How are we on pace for 14 interceptions. Haven't we only thrown 1? That would put us on pace for 42 TDs and 6 ints

Well I will also add, Tebow doesn't have the benefit of playing this years UM run defense.

You're right it's 7 interceptions as it'd be a 14 game season. Edited it, thanks
