    Just saw where Herard left Maryland to go pro...

    I hope he isn't another case of someone who doesn't want to work for his dream.

    Maybe he got a good overseas offer. His family is from Haiti so I'm sure they could use some help financially.

    I'll be curious to see where he is in 5 years

    Seemed like a nice guy. Certainly right now, not anywhere close to NBA material. Not even sure if he is Europe material. Good luck anyway though. Hope life works out for him. He should have at least gotten a degree from somewhere in PE or education of some type. Would have at least gotten a job as a teacher or coach, or both. I know a teacher in Desoto County that teaches a regular high school class, coaches and gets a stipend, and then drives a bus twice a day for an extra 10k or so per year. Then he gets a couple months off in the summer to do what he wants or work another part time job to fill in. Altogether.....he makes a pretty good living and enjoys life.
