    Bigger Commit/Prospect

I thought I read somewhere JT Ginn has until July 6th to sign and I came up with an interesting question. IF you could only have commit or signee that week, do you choose (A) Ginn or (B) Emery?

I know that it is possible we get both and I hope like hell we do, but just for fun, who would YOU choose IF you could only chose one?

JT. he is what you call a once a decade (or longer) program-changer type of player.

I love baseball, but football is king in college. This football class is picking up steam... every 4-star we pick up from here out helps us maintain our program, and even take it up a notch.

We have Ginn. We just aren’t going to see him play for us..... so there’s that. But if this is choice for which guy to show up on campus I’d go Ginn. Dual guy that can help instantly.

Can Ginn play SS or do you see him as a 3B?

We have an interesting situation where Foscue, Westburg, and Gunner Halter are all good 3B prospects but not really SS. I know Ginn could DH, but I kind of see Tanner Allen as the DH next year.

He's an excellent ss. Great feet and great hands but I know the plan if he comes to school is to play 3B when he's not pitching to protect his arm.

Ginn to answer the OP and I think we use him either at 1B/3B/DH and then either as a weekend starter or closer and then make him the ace the next year.

Thanks, I definitely want his bat in the lineup.

If he comes to school, it will be interesting to see how Lemo get's Ginn, Westburg, Halter, and Foscue all in the lineup.

I’d be surprised if westburg is not our SS next year.

No one really projects him there. I heard Cohen mention him as a 3B/1B. Even said he could see him as a corner OF, but never mentioned SS.

You're welcome. He's really smooth defensively.

He’s not a college ss. He’s a corner guy. Just like foscue, and Westburg.
