    Forget the coaching search for a second, Mangum makes it official..

    he's coming back for his senior!! I'm pumped to be able to watch him play one more season for the M&W.

    I think we should get Butch Thompson and keep the staff intact. If we can make the CWS this year, we can make a huge run next year. Butch is an elite recruiter and is doing really well at Auburn. I could get behind a Butch hire. Just makes the most sense to me since we struck out on the elite coaches. Come on Cohen bring Butch home!

    Dude, Billingsley is a senior. The one starting pitcher is Small. And Self's makeup and cutter make him more suited to be a reliever.

    I think Self could do it. Hell Pilk got drafted and he hardly lasted over 5 innings all year

    My thoughts since day 1.

    Butch may not be a "proven" elite coach, although that is changing currently but he is an elite coach and is worthy of our head job.

    I bet a lot of people around here change their tune about Butch if they beat UF this weekend. Which they have a very good shot at doing.
